Peyman Mohajer has spent his career moving between building, growing, and eventually stepping away from his own engineering practices rather than settling into one firm for the long term. He established the Dubai office of the UK consultancy Whitby & Bird in 2005, running it as regional managing director for the Middle East and continuing in that role after the firm merged with Ramboll. In 2010, he founded WME Engineering Consultants, which grew over roughly a decade and a half into a well-established regional engineering practice before being acquired by Egis Group in 2022, at which point Mohajer took on a regional building line director role covering energy and sustainable cities. In 2024, he co-founded 9E Global, where he now serves as Managing Director.
