Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - ARTDOM Riyadh will return for its second edition on 20–21 October 2026, bringing together international brands, designers and creative projects across interiors, contemporary design, art, architecture, real estate development and hospitality.

Among the initiatives joining this year’s programme is Seasons Arabia, a multidisciplinary project exploring the relationship between traditional Russian craftsmanship and contemporary design.

The presentation will feature designers, artists and manufacturers reworking historic techniques, materials and cultural references through contemporary forms and creative practices.

The Seasons Arabia installation will include six creative practices spanning sculpture, embroidery, textiles, porcelain and fashion. Participants named in the programme include Dmitry Chekuchinov, whose wooden horse sculptures draw on traditional Russian architecture and carving, and Natalia Shvalova, whose pearl ornaments use the traditional sazhenie po beli embroidery technique.

Other works include embroidery by Maria Meltsaeva inspired by Pavlovo Posad shawl patterns, pieces by Furland combining Russian fur with handwoven silk satin, and sculptural textile works by Ustina Yakovleva influenced by the culture of the Russian North.

Seasons Arabia grew out of Russian Seasons, a cultural initiative founded in Moscow in 2015 and inspired by Sergei Diaghilev’s Ballets Russes. The initiative expanded into the Middle East in 2025 with its launch in Dubai.

Daria Matsievskaia, Founder of Seasons Arabia, said: “At Seasons Arabia, we bring together designers, artists and manufacturers who reinterpret historic techniques, materials and cultural codes through a contemporary lens — demonstrating how traditional craftsmanship can evolve through new ideas, forms and creative practices.”

ARTDOM Riyadh 2026 is expected to welcome more than 6,000 professionals and design-focused guests, alongside more than 80 interior design brands and original authors, over 50 speakers and more than 1,400 programme attendees.
