Muscat, Oman - Hassan Allam Construction and Galfar Engineering & Contracting have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at exploring joint construction opportunities across Oman.
The agreement creates a framework for the two contractors to combine their technical capabilities, operational resources and local market experience when assessing potential projects in the Sultanate.
The move comes as Hassan Allam Holding continues to widen its presence across regional markets, with Oman identified as another market where local partnerships could support future expansion.
For Galfar, the agreement provides an opportunity to work alongside one of the region’s established engineering and construction groups on projects that may benefit from combined delivery expertise.
The companies are expected to assess opportunities where their respective strengths can be brought together, particularly on projects requiring large-scale engineering, construction and infrastructure capability.
The MoU does not identify individual projects or disclose any contract values at this stage.
Instead, it establishes a basis for future collaboration as both companies look to participate in Oman’s ongoing development pipeline.
Hassan Allam Construction is the flagship construction arm of Hassan Allam Holding and delivers engineering, procurement and construction services across infrastructure and large-scale building projects in the region.
