Basheer Massad

BK Gulf marked the start of his senior leadership journey, where he managed the company's Abu Dhabi business before taking executive positions elsewhere in the UAE's MEP sector. His return as General Manager brought him back to a business he already knew well, this time with responsibility for its wider engineering and operational activities across the region.

Rather than operating as a single-discipline contractor, BK Gulf brings together mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and specialist engineering services within one organisation. Massad's role sits across that entire operation, balancing project delivery, commercial performance and the coordination of multidisciplinary engineering teams working simultaneously on a wide variety of developments.

A recurring theme throughout his career has been the drive to improve how engineering projects are delivered. Prefabricated MEP systems, digital coordination and integrated planning have become increasingly important across the business as projects have grown larger and technically more demanding, particularly where multiple contractors and specialist consultants are involved.

Massad's career reflects the progression from engineer to business leader without moving away from the technical side of the industry. That combination of engineering knowledge and operational experience continues to shape the delivery of specialist building services across some of the region's most complex developments.
