Dubai has unveiled the Dubai AI Academy, a strategic initiative aimed at equipping 10,000 professionals with advanced artificial intelligence (AI) skills. Announced by Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum during the inaugural Dubai AI Week 2025, the Academy is set to become a cornerstone in the city's vision to be a global AI leader.
Situated within the Dubai AI Campus at the DIFC Innovation Hub, the Academy will offer specialized programs in collaboration with esteemed institutions such as Oxford University's Saïd Business School, Udacity, and the Minerva Project. Initial courses include 'AI for Civil Service' and 'Leadership in the Age of AI', focusing on integrating AI into public services and strategic decision-making.
This initiative aligns with Dubai's Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence (DUB.AI) and supports the DIFC 2030 Strategy, aiming to double AI's contribution to the GDP and enhance the city's global competitiveness. By fostering a skilled workforce, Dubai is reinforcing its commitment to innovation and technological advancement across sectors.
