Majid Al Futtaim, the renowned developer of integrated destinations across the Middle East, is joining forces with lifestyle hospitality group Ennismore to introduce Egypt’s first-ever 25hours Hotel. The property will be located within Junction, a new business and cultural district being developed in West Cairo.
This marks a significant milestone for both Majid Al Futtaim’s hospitality portfolio and the 25hours brand, known globally for its imaginative design, local storytelling, and community-driven experiences. The hotel will be the centerpiece of Junction—a vibrant mixed-use destination that combines workspaces, retail, dining, and wellness with art, design, and modern urban living.
The 25hours Hotel in Junction will feature approximately 250 rooms, including a selection of 25hours Heimat branded residences. True to the brand's playful and immersive identity, the hotel will showcase bold interiors and spaces designed to foster creativity and connection.
Guests can expect three unique dining concepts, wellness and spa facilities, coworking zones, and flexible event venues. Residents of the Heimat units will benefit from curated services, on-site concierge, and access to Accor’s Ownership Benefits Programme, offering an elevated living experience.
Executives from both companies described the launch as a significant moment for Egypt’s growing lifestyle hospitality sector. One leader noted the brand’s commitment to designing spaces that resonate with local identity, saying:
“Each 25hours Hotel is inspired by the culture and history of its city. This property will bring a fresh energy to West Cairo and serve as a cultural connector within Junction.”
Another senior executive commented on the alignment with Majid Al Futtaim’s broader mission:
“We’re not just building spaces, we’re creating destinations that bring value to communities. Introducing 25hours to Egypt is a bold move that aligns with our strategy of blending innovation with cultural richness.”
Junction spans more than 129,000 square meters and includes 13 future-ready office buildings, retail and dining spaces, and expansive walkable public areas. Built with sustainability at its core, the entire project is being developed to meet LEED Gold certification.
The district is designed to foster productivity and community by integrating modern workspaces with lifestyle and cultural offerings. The arrival of 25hours is expected to further elevate Junction’s status as a go-to destination for creatives, entrepreneurs, and travelers alike.
As Majid Al Futtaim continues to reimagine urban development in the region, the partnership with Ennismore brings together global hospitality excellence with deep regional insight, delivering an experience that promises to be as unique as the city itself.
