ADREC launches the Digital Buy & Sell Journey, making Abu Dhabi the first city in the region to enable end-to-end online property transactions. (Image: Shutterstock)Abu Dhabi, UAE – October 13, 2025: The Abu Dhabi Real Estate Center (ADREC) has launched the Digital Buy & Sell Journey, the first government-backed initiative in the Middle East to enable fully digital real estate transactions, from listing to ownership transfer without the need for physical paperwork or in-person attendance.
The new service represents a major step in Abu Dhabi’s digital transformation, empowering buyers and sellers, whether in the emirate or overseas to securely complete property purchases entirely online.
“The launch of the Buy & Sell Service is more than a technological innovation; it is a strategic leap in Abu Dhabi’s digital transformation,” said Engineer Rashed Al Omaira, Acting Director General of ADREC. “By harnessing advanced technologies to strengthen the foundations of our real estate market, we are ensuring efficiency, security, and transparency at every stage of the transaction process.”
The Buy & Sell Journey streamlines key steps, including mortgage release, title registration, trustee verification, digital signing, and escrow settlements — into a single integrated platform. The system operates within the TAMM digital services portal and is powered by UAE Pass, allowing residents to verify and sign documents securely from anywhere in the world.

This framework makes Abu Dhabi the first jurisdiction in the region to offer a complete, borderless digital property transaction experience, combining regulatory oversight with next-generation convenience.
The TAMM platform guides users step-by-step, from initial application to final ownership transfer — and provides options for virtual or in-person trustee meetings. The result is faster processing times, lower operational costs, and a smoother experience for property owners, investors, and agents.
The initiative aligns with Abu Dhabi’s broader goal of becoming an AI-enabled government by 2027, integrating intelligent systems and automation into all essential services.
“As the emirate accelerates its journey toward becoming an AI-enabled government by 2027, this platform ensures real estate is fully aligned with that vision,” Al Omaira added. “It demonstrates Abu Dhabi’s leadership in merging cutting-edge technology with public services, offering world-class, future-ready solutions for residents, investors, and innovators alike.”
The Digital Buy & Sell Journey is part of ADREC’s long-term strategy to unify and enhance the emirate’s real estate ecosystem, reinforcing transparency, efficiency, and investor confidence across the market.
