Dubai, UAE – September 11, 2025 - Dubai will soon welcome a new global landmark as Ciel Dubai Marina, part of the Vignette Collection by IHG Hotels & Resorts, has officially announced its opening date of November 2025.
Soaring to a height of 1,237 feet (377 meters) across 82 floors, Ciel will claim the title of the world’s tallest hotel while also featuring the highest infinity pool in the world, setting a new benchmark for luxury hospitality and architectural innovation in the region.
Designed by the award-winning architectural firm Norr, Ciel Dubai Marina will house 1,004 rooms and suites, each featuring floor-to-ceiling windows with breathtaking panoramic views of Palm Jumeirah, the Arabian Gulf, and Dubai’s vibrant skyline.
The hotel will offer eight world-class dining venues, providing guests with a diverse culinary journey that matches the grandeur of its setting. Its design focuses on delivering a seamless blend of innovation, elegance, and comfort, setting new standards for upper-upscale accommodation.
Beyond its interior offerings, Ciel’s location provides direct access to Dubai Marina’s premium attractions, including world-class dining, luxury shopping, and pristine beaches. The hotel is strategically positioned just minutes away from Palm Jumeirah, Uptown Dubai, JBR beachfront, and Bluewaters Island, making it an ideal hub for both leisure and business travelers.
Rob Burns, CEO of The First Group Hospitality, the operator behind Ciel, described the project as a transformational development for Dubai’s tourism sector.
“Ciel represents a landmark development that reinforces Dubai’s position as a global hub for tourism and business travel,” said Burns. “Standing at 377 meters, the all-hotel tower will redefine upper-upscale hospitality, blending innovation, luxury, and creativity through its striking design, world-class amenities, and breathtaking vistas.”
Haitham Mattar, Managing Director of IHG Hotels & Resorts for West Asia, Middle East, and Africa, highlighted the significance of Ciel within the group’s luxury portfolio.
“When we launched the Vignette Collection in late 2021, our vision was to create a portfolio of unique luxury hotels,” said Mattar. “The highly anticipated November opening of Ciel Dubai Marina, Vignette Collection, set to become the world’s tallest all-hotel tower, is the pinnacle of that vision, showcasing the collection’s success and our dedication to providing extraordinary experiences for our guests.”
Dubai is no stranger to architectural feats, and Ciel represents another step forward in the city’s strategy to remain a global tourism powerhouse. The hotel’s combination of record-breaking height, luxury amenities, and prime location will further cement Dubai Marina as one of the world’s most prestigious travel destinations.
Once open, Ciel is expected to attract visitors from across the globe, adding to Dubai’s growing reputation for offering unique, world-class experiences for both leisure and business travelers.
