Laheq Island: Red Sea Global Unveils New Saudi Residential Project

Located within The Red Sea giga-project, Laheq Island is poised to become one of the region’s most exclusive lifestyle destinations, blending world-class architecture with environmental harmony. The development will feature 260 beach and overwater residences, complemented by luxury hospitality offerings, including three boutique hotels and a yacht club.

Designed by renowned architects Foster + Partners, the master plan emphasizes minimal ecological impact while delivering an unmatched coastal living experience. The island’s distinctive ring-shaped lagoon, framed by verdant mangroves and pristine coral reefs, underscores RSG’s commitment to regenerative tourism and sustainable design.

Laheq Island is the first residential-focused project to be announced within The Red Sea destination, marking a key milestone in the Kingdom’s broader Vision 2030 strategy. Residents and visitors will have access to high-end leisure and wellness amenities, alongside concierge and lifestyle services aimed at delivering a seamless living experience.

Currently under construction, the island is scheduled for completion and opening in 2028, coinciding with the expansion of The Red Sea’s luxury tourism offerings. RSG reports significant progress, with 60% of Phase One infrastructure already completed and the Red Sea International Airport partially operational.
