Dubai, UAE – August 25, 2025 - The global market for branded residences has grown by 160% over the past decade, highlighting the strong appeal of homes that combine prestige, security, and five-star services. At the heart of this surge is Dubai, which has firmly established itself as the world leader in branded living, according to the latest PRIME by Betterhomes report – Branded Residences: Dubai vs The World.
By 2030, the number of branded residences worldwide is expected to reach 1,400 developments, with the MENA region accounting for 25% of this total. Dubai alone will deliver more than 140 branded residence projects by 2031, cementing its position as the epicentre of branded luxury real estate.
Louis Harding, CEO at Betterhomes, said:
“Dubai has embraced the evolution of branded living in a way no other city has. Globally, branded residences have grown 160% in the past decade, and here in Dubai, we now lead the region with 61 completed projects and another 100 underway. This combination of scale and premium performance is why the city is setting a new standard for what branded residences represent worldwide.”
Dubai’s dominance in branded living is the result of forward-thinking government policies, a business-friendly environment, and the vision of developers delivering world-class projects in prime locations. Combined with the UAE’s expanding population of high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), the market offers strong rental yields, reliable capital appreciation, and homes priced more competitively than in other global hubs.
As a result, Dubai’s branded residences not only sell faster but also retain their value, often outperforming non-branded properties in the resale market.
On average, branded residences in Dubai command a 40% price premium compared to non-branded homes in the same area. Yet the attraction extends beyond the brand name — buyers are drawn by trusted quality, elevated design, and globally recognised services that deliver a distinct lifestyle.
The Betterhomes report points to several reasons why Dubai has become the top destination for international buyers:
Compared to other luxury markets, Dubai stands out: more affordable than Miami, more tax-friendly than London, and offering greater growth potential than Phuket.
Harding added:
“Dubai’s leadership in branded residences reflects more than just impressive growth. It’s about the city’s unique ability to deliver both value for investors and an elevated lifestyle for residents. With branded homes achieving a 40% premium, Dubai isn’t simply keeping up with global demand; it’s setting the pace for the future of luxury living.”
Dubai already has over 50 completed branded residence projects, with transaction volumes and values continuing to climb. With more than 100 new projects in the pipeline, the city’s reputation as a global hub for branded living is only set to grow stronger.
From its competitive investment advantages to the lifestyle assurance it offers, Dubai has become the global benchmark for branded residences, combining scale, innovation, and value in ways that outpace rival markets worldwide.
