Amira Sajwani - Managing Director, Damac Properties Dubai, UAE – DAMAC Properties, the largest private real estate developer in the UAE and the Middle East, recorded 5,706 transactions valued at AED 15.6 billion (USD 4.35b) in H1 2026, ranking first in Dubai’s primary off-plan residential market by sales volume. DAMAC’s performance was particularly strong in the off-plan villa segment: with nearly one out of every two villa units sold (44.2 per cent) being DAMAC properties. This is almost twice the share of the next-ranked developer and accounted for 20 per cent of market share. Based on Dubai Land Department data for January to June 2026, DAMAC placed first by sales volume, ahead of the next-ranked developer’s 5,316 units, and second by total sales value.
Amira Sajwani, Managing Director, DAMAC Properties, said: “These results reflect investor confidence in Dubai’s resilient real estate sector. Our focus remains on creating distinctive communities, maintaining disciplined growth and delivering homes that respond to the evolving needs of Dubai’s residents and an ever-expanding global investor base. DAMAC’s leadership by unit volume demonstrates the depth of demand across our portfolio and our ability to convert that demand at scale.”
Dubai’s off-plan residential market remains active and resilient, with top-ranked developers competing across a broad mix of apartments and villas. Dubai’s off-plan primary residential market recorded AED 92.8 billion (USD 25.27b) in sales across 46,794 apartments during this period. In the off-plan villa segment, sales in Dubai touched AED 56.9 billion (USD 15.49b) across 7,730 units.
DAMAC’s sales momentum supports its broader strategy of combining product innovation with sustained construction and delivery. The stellar sales performance in 2026 is supported by a cadence of handovers spanning several flagship developments, including DAMAC Hills, DAMAC Hills 2, DAMAC Lagoons, Chic Tower and Elegance Tower.
As Dubai’s residential property sector transitions from being launch-led to delivery-driven, DAMAC is strengthening its development pipeline. Having delivered more than 50,000 homes and another 8,800 anticipated to be delivered in 2026 across Dubai, DAMAC is committed to creating lifestyle-driven communities that elevate everyday living into an immersive experience.
