Abu Dhabi is poised to enhance its luxury real estate and hospitality landscape with the announcement of the Bvlgari Resort & Mansions, a prestigious development on a private island off the Corniche. The project, a collaboration between Eagle Hills and Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts, aims to redefine ultra-luxury living in the emirate and is scheduled for completion by 2030.
Designed by the esteemed Italian architectural firm Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel (ACPV), the island’s masterplan blends Roman elegance with Arabian cultural influences. The architecture will feature glass and gold elements complemented by lush private gardens, soft dunes, and sustainable water-sensitive landscaping designed by LAND SR, ensuring an eco-conscious yet lavish environment.
The development will comprise a 60-room Bvlgari hotel, including exclusive suites such as the two signature Bvlgari Suites and a penthouse. Alongside the hotel, there will be 30 luxury beachfront villas, each boasting private pools and stunning sea or skyline views. Additionally, 90 branded mansions will be available, including eight standalone estates that offer private beaches and yacht docks capable of accommodating 25-meter vessels. The pinnacle of the residences is the Bvlgari Villa, a 1,200-square-meter, five-bedroom estate with a private beach, large swimming pool, and panoramic water views.
Adding to the island’s exclusivity, the Bvlgari Yacht Club will provide a private members-only facility featuring a 40-berth marina, beach, and high-end dining options. Access to the island will be available via a dedicated bridge or by sea, preserving privacy and ease of entry.
The resort will also feature a 2,000-square-meter Bvlgari Spa, offering a 25-meter indoor pool, fitness centre, and outdoor relaxation areas. Culinary experiences will be curated by renowned names including Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, the Japanese restaurant Hōseki, a Turkish concept, and beachside dining at La Spiaggia, complemented by Il Caffè and the Bvlgari Bar.
Sustainability is central to the project, with an emphasis on low-impact construction, native landscaping, cycling paths, and natural dune preservation, aligning with Abu Dhabi’s broader environmental goals.
The partnership between Eagle Hills, led by developer Mohamed Alabbar, and Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts, part of LVMH, builds on their successful collaborations in Dubai and beyond. This project is set to establish Abu Dhabi as a prime destination for luxury living and hospitality in the Gulf region.
