Lewis joined ALEC in 2002 as a Contracts Manager on the Mina Al Salam project and steadily progressed through the organisation, taking on increasingly senior operational leadership roles before being appointed CEO in 2023. Having overseen construction operations for many years, he has played an instrumental role in the company's evolution, helping strengthen its multidisciplinary delivery model and supporting its expansion into new markets and complementary business sectors.

With a background in construction management and more than 30 years of industry experience, Lewis has been involved in the delivery of numerous landmark developments across the Middle East. Throughout his career, he has maintained a strong focus on operational excellence, collaboration and building long-term partnerships with clients. His leadership philosophy centres on creating integrated construction solutions that bring together engineering expertise, innovation and practical project delivery to support increasingly ambitious developments.

Under his leadership, ALEC continues to broaden its service offering beyond traditional contracting, providing clients with a fully integrated delivery model that includes MEP, fit-out, modular construction, data centre solutions, energy services, heavy equipment rental and specialist technologies. This approach enables the company to support projects throughout the construction lifecycle while responding to the evolving needs of developers and government entities across the region.
