Originally from Ireland, Jason graduated from the University of Dundee in 1996 before beginning his career in London, where he worked across architecture and urban planning. In 2001, he relocated to Dubai and joined GAJ during a transformative period for the UAE’s built environment. Over the years, he progressed from architect to Partner and later Managing Director, helping guide the firm’s architectural direction while contributing to many of its most recognised regional projects.
Jason’s work is defined by a thoughtful and contextual approach to architecture, with a strong emphasis on user experience, sustainability, and long-term functionality. His portfolio includes projects such as Serenia Residences and Serenia Living on Palm Jumeirah, The WB Abu Dhabi, educational campuses including Dubai College and Arcadia School, as well as a range of hospitality and mixed-use developments across the GCC.
Known for balancing creativity with practical delivery, Jason advocates for architecture that responds intelligently to climate, culture, and community. Alongside his project work, he is passionate about mentorship and fostering collaborative studio environments that encourage innovation and design excellence across the next generation of architects.
