Emma Stinson

Emma Stinson is an award-winning interior architect and Creative Director of FINCH a Dubai-based multidisciplinary design studio internationally recognised for its work across hospitality, retail, commercial, and F&B environments. Born and raised in Dubai, Emma has spent more than two decades shaping some of the region’s most distinctive interior experiences, combining creative storytelling with commercially intelligent design solutions.

A graduate of Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Interior Architecture & Design, Emma co-founded the studio in 2011 alongside Kristian Stinson, helping transform FINCH from a boutique startup into one of the Middle East’s most respected design firms. Under her creative leadership, the studio has delivered projects for globally recognised hospitality, retail, and lifestyle brands while maintaining a strong focus on originality, narrative-driven design, and user experience.

Emma’s work is characterised by bold conceptual thinking balanced with operational functionality. Her design philosophy centres on creating spaces that feel emotionally engaging while remaining commercially effective, ensuring that every project connects authentically with its audience. Across hospitality, food and beverage, workplace, and branded environments, her interiors are known for their layered materiality, strong identity, and carefully considered spatial flow.

Over the years, Emma has consistently been recognised among the region’s most influential designers, regularly appearing in industry power lists and receiving accolades including Interior Designer of the Year. Her leadership has helped position FINCH as an award-winning studio known for innovation, collaboration, and high-impact experiential design across the Middle East and beyond.
