Saudi design leaders and emerging talent at INDEX Saudi Arabia 2026

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, XX September 2026: INDEX Saudi Arabia 2026 will return to Riyadh from 15–17 September at Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center (RICEC), with the Architecture and Design Commission as Strategic Partner. Held under the theme “Built on heritage. Designed for tomorrow.”, the 2026 edition will place Saudi design leadership, cultural identity and emerging talent at the centre of its programme.

• 60+ leading architects, interior designers, real estate developers, and design academics will take part in INDEX Design Talks, with Saudi speakers representing more than half of the programme
• Final-year interior design students from 11 Saudi universities will compete in INDEX Future Stars
• “Built on heritage. Designed for tomorrow” will frame the 2026 edition, placing Saudi cultural identity at the heart of the design conversation

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, XX September 2026: INDEX Saudi Arabia 2026 will return to Riyadh from 15–17 September at Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center (RICEC), with the Architecture and Design Commission as Strategic Partner. Held under the theme “Built on heritage. Designed for tomorrow.”, the 2026 edition will place Saudi design leadership, cultural identity and emerging talent at the centre of its programme.

INDEX Design Talks will bring together more than 60 leading architects, interior designers, real estate developers and international design experts to examine the ideas and priorities shaping the Kingdom’s design and fit-out sector.

Saudi speakers will represent more than half of the programme, bringing local perspectives to discussions around the Kingdom's evolving design identity.

Reflecting this year's theme, sessions will explore how Saudi heritage and cultural identity are being translated into contemporary projects, alongside practical and commercial priorities including materiality, technology, evolving client expectations and project delivery.

INDEX Future Stars in collaboration with ArchiNet will bring a next-generation perspective to the programme, with final-year interior design students from 11 Saudi universities presenting their projects to a panel of established design professionals. Competing for the opportunity to secure an internship, the initiative creates a direct link between design education, emerging Saudi talent and professional practice.

The judging panel includes senior figures from Athel Design, ROSHN, Naslaa, Ithra, Adeera Hospitality, Buro Happold and Realm Design, bringing expertise from across architecture, design, development and the built environment.

Returning for a second year, Trend Tours will take visitors directly to standout products, materials and design solutions across the exhibition through expert-led tours developed withCIOB, RIBA and INDEX Brand Ambassadors. Combining curated stand visits, product demonstrations and direct interaction with brands and designers, the tours will help visitors explore key trends and applications across the show floor.
