Shamal unveils ‘The Grand’, the official name of Nad Al Sheba Gardens Mall, a fully leased retail and lifestyle destination. Image: SuppliedDUBAI, UAE – Shamal Holding has unveiled The Grand as the official name of its new retail and lifestyle destination at Nad Al Sheba Gardens, introducing a fully leased community hub that will open in phases from 19 August 2026.
Developed as part of Shamal's long-term vision for Nad Al Sheba Gardens, The Grand brings together a curated mix of premium retail, dining, wellness, healthcare and everyday services, creating a destination designed around the needs of residents and the wider community.
Anchored by the first Waitrose and Partners store in Nad Al Sheba, The Grand has been designed as more than a traditional community mall, combining convenience with a lifestyle-focused environment where residents can shop, dine, exercise and connect.
The first phase of openings will begin on 19 August 2026, led by Waitrose and Partners, alongside MMI, Heart Cottage Lane, Maple Bear Nursery, Al Jaber Optical and Fixperts.
From early September, the destination will welcome a broader collection of restaurants, cafés, bakeries, wellness and lifestyle brands, including Tashas, Somewhere, Home Bakery, Kokoro, Blu Pizzeria, Bake My Day, Daima, Staywell Pharmacy and Tips & Toes.
Fitcode and American Hospital will complete The Grand's health and wellness offering in early 2027.
