Abu Dhabi, UAE - SAAS Properties has launched The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Al Maryah Island at LIVEX 2026, introducing a new branded residential development on Abu Dhabi's waterfront.
Construction is already underway, with handover anticipated in the second quarter of 2030.
The launch brought together Ahmed Al Qassimi, CEO of SAAS Properties, and Jaidev Menezes, Regional Vice President, Mixed-Use Development, Europe, Middle East and Africa at Marriott International.
165 private residences planned
The development will comprise 165 private homes, including one- to four-bedroom simplex residences, duplex residences and a signature penthouse.
The tower is being developed along Al Maryah Island's waterfront canal and will rise from a landscaped podium with family-focused and resort-style amenities.
Architect Shaun Killa, Founder and Design Director of Killa Design, is leading the architectural design, while Tara Bernerd, Founder and Creative Director of Tara Bernerd & Partners, is responsible for the interiors.
The project marks Bernerd's first development in the Middle East.
Residents will have access to a gym and spa, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, an executive golf lounge, co-working spaces, a boardroom, cinema, landscaped areas and dedicated family facilities.
