Dubai property transactions hit $156bn in first nine months of 2026

Dubai, UAE - Dubai's real estate market recorded $156.33 billion (AED 574.12 billion) in transactions during the first nine months of 2026, according to Dubai Land Department data.

A total of 165,018 transactions were completed between January and September, while property sales reached $103.31 billion (AED 379.4 billion) across 123,416 deals.

The sales figure was the second highest recorded in the Dubai property market, behind the level reached in 2025.

Ready and off-plan sales remain active

Ready-property sales accounted for $53.39 billion (AED 196.08 billion) across approximately 39,320 transactions during the nine-month period.

Off-plan sales reached $49.92 billion (AED 183.32 billion) from 84,090 transactions, including 77,180 residential unit deals and 6,909 building transactions.

Mortgage transactions totalled $41.15 billion (AED 151.13 billion) across 34,910 deals, while gift transactions were valued at $11.87 billion (AED 43.6 billion).

Business Bay recorded the highest sales value among Dubai areas at more than $5.45 billion (AED 20 billion). Airport City followed at approximately $4.83 billion (AED 17.72 billion), with Al Yalayis 1 reaching $4.38 billion (AED 16.09 billion).

Palm Deira, Palm Jumeirah, Me'aisem 2, Jumeirah Village Circle, Palm Jebel Ali, the Burj Khalifa area and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Gardens also ranked among the top areas by sales value.

September transactions exceed $13bn

Dubai recorded $13.83 billion (AED 50.78 billion) in real estate transactions during September alone, across 16,490 deals.

Property sales accounted for $8.08 billion (AED 29.66 billion) of the monthly total, including $4.36 billion (AED 16.03 billion) in ready-property transactions and $3.71 billion (AED 13.63 billion) in off-plan sales.

Mortgage transactions reached $4.57 billion (AED 16.79 billion) during the month, while gift transactions totalled $1.18 billion (AED 4.33 billion).

The September figures underline the level of activity across both completed and off-plan property segments as Dubai's real estate market moves into the final quarter of 2026.
