Dubai, UAE - Dar Global Capital Partners (DGCP), the asset management business of London-listed developer Dar Global, is looking at setting up a real estate opportunities fund dedicated to Dubai, as part of a mandate to invest across the GCC, Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States.

In its announcement on 26 October, DGCP described itself as Dar Global's alternative asset management arm and said it would put capital to work in international property markets through this cross-border mandate. It plans to pair that with what it called high-conviction Dubai investments.

The firm runs independently out of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), where the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) oversees it. Its business, the company said, is matching institutional investors and global private wealth with prime real estate.

DGCP said Dubai keeps drawing a steady flow of capital from abroad as a premier hub for wealth and business, which is why it is studying a fund that would invest only in the emirate.

The same approach applies in every market it targets, according to the firm: an investment framework built on institutional discipline. DGCP said it gives priority to buying at attractive entry valuations and to rigorous structural protection on the downside, and aims to add value actively by repositioning assets strategically and improving how they are run.

Alongside the strategy, DGCP has made Dar Global PLC's Chief Executive Officer, Ziad El Chaar, its Chairman. The firm said the appointment strengthens governance and ties the parent group's international development footprint more closely to the asset management platform.

DGCP said the move comes after a transformational phase for Dar Global. The London Stock Exchange recently moved the developer up into its Equity Shares (Commercial Companies) category, and Dar Global's worldwide portfolio has grown to $23 billion in gross development value (GDV).

That transfer to the Commercial Companies category took effect on 8 September 2025, making Dar Global the first Saudi Arabian company to complete such a move on the LSE's Main Market. A month earlier, the developer said it was buying a DIFC-licensed financial services firm, when it put its GDV at about $12.5 billion.

Ziad El Chaar, Chairman of Dar Global Capital Partners and CEO of Dar Global, said: “Through Dar Global, we built an international platform serving investors from more than 125 nationalities.”

“With DGCP, we are taking the natural next step by establishing an institutional-grade, regulated vehicle that enables investors to access compelling cross-border real estate investments through a disciplined, value-oriented framework. While we pursue acquisitions across leading global gateway cities, Dubai’s exceptional fundamentals offer strong potential for targeted capital deployment,” he added.

DGCP said it offers specialist asset management and advisory services intended to build long-term value for sovereign, institutional and ultra-high-net-worth clients in a range of international jurisdictions.

The DFSA authorises and regulates the Dar Global PLC subsidiary, which works with Professional Clients only from Unit 301, Gate District Building 4 in the DIFC.
