Hollywood actor Chris Evans, best known for his role as Captain America in Marvel’s blockbuster “Avengers” franchise, is parting ways with his longtime Los Angeles home. The 43-year-old star has listed his Hollywood Hills property for $7 million, marking a significant return on the investment he made over a decade ago.
Evans originally purchased the property in 2013 for $3.52 million. Now, more than 10 years later, the updated listing price reflects both the steady rise in Los Angeles property values and the home’s architectural appeal, privacy, and celebrity pedigree.
The sale comes as Evans prepares to relocate to the East Coast, where he plans to be closer to family. In 2023, Evans married actress Alba Baptista, and the couple is reportedly seeking a quieter, more grounded lifestyle outside the Hollywood spotlight.
The home’s listing marks the end of a long West Coast chapter for Evans, whose career has included some of the most iconic roles in modern film.
Located in the Laurel Canyon enclave of the Hollywood Hills, the home spans approximately 4,600 square feet. It features four bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, along with expansive windows, high ceilings, and sliding glass doors that frame views of the Santa Monica Mountains.
The open-concept layout includes a sleek chef’s kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, a spacious living room with a fireplace, and a media room perfect for private screenings. The primary suite features a spa-style bath, walk-in closet, and direct access to outdoor terraces.
Outdoors, the home offers a tranquil setting with a resort-style pool and spa, multiple lounge areas, and lush landscaping that ensures total privacy. Designed for both entertaining and relaxation, the property reflects the type of lifestyle Los Angeles’ hillside communities are known for — exclusive, serene, and stylish.
The home is also equipped with smart home features, custom woodwork, and environmentally conscious design elements, adding both comfort and long-term value.
Celebrity real estate listings tend to spark interest well beyond the price tag, and Chris Evans’ $7 million listing is expected to draw attention from high-end buyers seeking a piece of Hollywood history.
As A-list figures increasingly shift toward life outside of Los Angeles, Evans’ move east reflects a broader trend among celebrities seeking more privacy, community, and connection to family life.
