Ras Al Khaimah, UAE: Aman Group has announced Janu Al Marjan Island, the latest addition to its growing portfolio and the second property under its lifestyle-focused brand Janu in the UAE. Following the success of Janu Tokyo, the brand’s debut in 2024, the new Ras Al Khaimah project will feature a luxury hotel and exclusive branded residences, marking another milestone in Janu’s global expansion.
Set along the scenic shores of Al Marjan Island, a collection of man-made islands stretching into the Gulf, Janu Al Marjan Island captures the spirit of community, design, and wellness that defines the brand. Designed by Singapore-based SCDA Architects, the property blends modern architectural elegance with natural surroundings to create a vibrant, social waterfront destination.
The resort will feature 132 guest rooms offering expansive sea views, complemented by signature amenities such as a Janu Wellness Centre with a yoga studio, gym, hammam, and banya. The development will also include two restaurants, a Mixology Bar, a beach club, and a lively nightlife venue all designed to foster connection and relaxation.
Adjacent to the hotel, a residential tower will house Janu Residences—a curated selection of one- to five-bedroom apartments and a limited number of standalone villas. Each residence will enjoy direct access to the resort’s amenities, including private beachfront spaces and landscaped terraces designed for community gatherings.
The project is strategically located near Wynn Al Marjan Island and the marina, providing residents with convenient access to Ras Al Khaimah’s growing luxury and leisure district.
Vlad Doronin, Chairman and CEO of Aman Group, said: “Ras Al Khaimah is rapidly emerging as one of the Middle East’s most captivating destinations, making it a natural home for our next Janu property. Janu Al Marjan Island will offer a vibrant setting where like-minded individuals can connect through shared experiences, immerse themselves in the region’s striking natural beauty, and embrace the brand’s spirited approach to contemporary, connected living.”
Vlad Doronin, Chairman and CEO of Aman Group.Janu, meaning “soul” in Sanskrit, was founded as a sister brand to Aman to embody social wellness, creativity, and joyful connection. Following Janu Tokyo’s success, several new destinations including Dubai, Saudi Arabia, and Turks & Caicos, are already under development.
The opening of Janu Al Marjan Island underscores Aman Group’s long-term commitment to redefining luxury hospitality through soulful design, purpose-driven experiences, and a sense of belonging rooted in place.
