Emaar, one of Dubai’s leading master developers, has announced a significant investment exceeding $1 billion aimed at enhancing the city's international profile through a series of cultural and infrastructure projects.
This substantial investment encompasses the creation and operation of iconic attractions such as the Dubai Fountain, renowned as the world's largest choreographed fountain, and the production of the New Year’s Eve celebrations at Burj Khalifa, events that garner global attention annually.
Additionally, Emaar has played a pivotal role in the development and ongoing support of Dubai Opera, a central cultural hub in the region. The company allocates over $50 million annually to maintain and upgrade these attractions, including recent enhancements like advanced lighting and projection systems for Burj Khalifa’s façade, enabling the tower to display visual narratives visible to millions worldwide.
Beyond physical infrastructure, Emaar extends its influence through social initiatives managed by the Emaar Foundation. These programs encompass charitable housing, community development, and sponsorships of national sports and cultural events, reflecting the company's commitment to social responsibility.
Mohamed Alabbar, Founder of Emaar, stated, “Emaar’s journey has always been rooted in a vision that transcends construction—it is about crafting experiences that inspire, unite, and leave a lasting impact. Our investments are a testament to our belief in Dubai’s limitless potential, and we are proud to play a key role in defining its global narrative.”
As Dubai continues to position itself among the world's premier destinations, Emaar's strategic investments underscore its dedication to fostering innovation, cultural enrichment, and community support.
