Dubai logged 3,657 property deals in one week, with sales and mortgages driving activity. Image: ShutterstockDUBAI, UAE: Dubai’s real estate market recorded USD 3.27 billion (AED 12 billion) in transactions over the week, with 3,657 deals registered through the Dubai Land Department (DLD).
Sales accounted for 2,564 transactions valued at USD 1.96 billion (AED 7.2 billion), while 939 mortgage transactions reached USD 1.09 billion (AED 4 billion). A further 154 gift transactions were recorded at USD 200.4 million (AED 736 million).
The week’s sales included 238 land transactions, 2,161 residential unit sales and 165 building sales.
Mortgage activity comprised 237 transactions involving land, 576 for residential units and 126 for buildings.
Off-plan property sales contributed USD 1.25 billion (AED 4.6 billion) across 985 deals, while ready-property sales totaled USD 708 million (AED 2.6 billion) through 1,579 transactions.
The Burj Khalifa area ranked first by sales value, recording USD 230.1 million (AED 845 million) during the week.
Airport City followed with USD 133.7 million (AED 491 million), while Al Yafra 1 recorded USD 133.2 million (AED 489 million).
Dubailand Residential Complex generated USD 77.9 million (AED 286 million) in sales, followed by Me'aisem First with USD 70.5 million (AED 259 million).
The Burj Khalifa area also recorded two major transactions during the period: a building mortgage valued at USD 197.4 million (AED 725 million) and a separate sale worth USD 128.3 million (AED 471 million).
An off-plan apartment within Cedarwood Estate was also sold for USD 9.26 million (AED 34 million).
