Dubai-born designer Omar Al Gurg is the founder of MODU Method, a design studio that sits at the intersection of creativity, community, and functionality. His work is rooted in the belief that good design should be not only visually engaging, but also purposeful, solving everyday problems while enhancing how people interact with their surroundings.

Al Gurg’s approach to design is shaped by personal experiences, early exposure to the arts, and his architectural background. After completing his studies abroad, he returned to the UAE to develop MODU Method alongside his family business, balancing creative exploration and entrepreneurial responsibility.

Through MODU Method, he champions accessible and interactive design, creating pieces that encourage use, adaptability, and a sense of connection. His work often reflects a subtle playfulness, drawing inspiration from past design eras while maintaining a contemporary and refined sensibility.
