Making an unforgettable first impression at Downtown Design 2025, the iconic French luxury furniture brand Roche Bobois unveiled a bold vision that merges artistry, colour, and craftsmanship — setting a new benchmark for luxury living in the Middle East.

Held from November 5 to 9 as part of Dubai Design Week, the fair brought together leading voices in global and regional design, offering Roche Bobois the ideal stage to showcase its signature philosophy of Art de Vivre - a celebration of individuality, emotion, and exceptional craftsmanship.

The brand’s debut installation, conceived by its in-house creative team, captivated visitors with an architectural concept that blurred the lines between art and design. The space featured a floating structure of mirrored panels, creating an illusion of infinite perspectives that magnified the vibrant tones, materials, and textures within the display. The result was an immersive visual experience where light, reflection, and sculptural form converged seamlessly.

At the core of the exhibition were three statement pieces exemplifying Roche Bobois’s design direction for 2025.

  • The Aqua Dining Table, a sculptural masterpiece in Rosso Levanto marble and Rosso Jaipur Fenix laminate, embodied fluidity through its droplet-shaped base. With only 200 units produced worldwide, it stands as a true collector’s piece.

  • The Mah Jong sofa, originally designed by Hans Hopfer, was presented in a bespoke mirrored chamber draped in Kenzo Takada’s SAMAA fabrics, celebrating modular creativity and cultural expression.

  • Completing the trio, the Bubble Sofa by Sacha Lakic appeared in a new Cromática palette, inspired by Spanish filmmaker Pedro Almodóvar’s cinematic use of colour — translating storytelling into form and function.

Beyond its stunning aesthetic display, Roche Bobois’s participation underscored a deeper narrative — one of collaboration and cultural dialogue. The brand’s Head of Marketing for the UAE, Fawzia Hassani, remarked:

“Being here is about forging connections and embracing the dynamic energy that makes Dubai’s design scene one of the most vibrant in the world.”

Through its inaugural presence at Downtown Design, Roche Bobois affirmed its commitment to the Middle East’s evolving design and architecture ecosystem, engaging with architects, interior designers, and collectors who view furniture not just as utility, but as an artistic and lifestyle statement.

The immersive booth presented more than a collection — it curated an entire living experience, reflecting the brand’s belief that true design is a dialogue between culture, creativity, and craftsmanship. With this landmark debut, Roche Bobois continues to shape the conversation around what luxury living means in the modern Middle East.
