Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Reno, the region’s leading technology-driven renovation platform, has secured $4 million through a combination of equity and debt financing to advance its ambition of building the Middle East’s first fully integrated operating system for residential and investment-led renovations.

The funding round was backed by 500 Sanabil, Hub71, Plus VC, Zero 100 VC, FlyerOne Ventures, Sandstorm VC, AngelSpark and Swiss Founders Fund. Proceeds from the raise will support the rollout of Reno’s new mobile application in early 2026, introducing real-time AI-powered design tools, instant budget forecasting and an intelligent materials engine designed to bring greater clarity and confidence to renovation decisions from the outset.

Building a fully integrated renovation platform

The latest investment will underpin Reno’s expansion across the UAE and the wider GCC, strengthening its position as a technology-led alternative to traditional renovation models. Rather than operating as a fragmented service, Reno brings together design, project management, contractor coordination and financing solutions, including its Renovate Now, Pay Later offering, within a single digital ecosystem.

By combining AI-enabled workflows with transparent, milestone-based delivery, the platform centralises all project data and approvals, giving homeowners and investors a clear, structured view of progress, costs and timelines throughout the renovation lifecycle.

Improving outcomes for homeowners

Reno’s end-to-end approach has already reshaped the renovation experience for homeowners such as Camillo Schobesberger, a working professional and father of two, who sought a more predictable and less disruptive way to upgrade his property. Through daily progress updates, real-time budget tracking and milestone-linked payments, he was able to oversee the renovation remotely while maintaining control over both schedule and costs.

“Reno made the renovation journey smooth for my family, minimising disruption to our daily lives and avoiding temporary storage or rental accommodations. On top of that, the carefully managed upgrades increased my property value by nearly 40%. What is usually the most stressful investment after buying a home became completely manageable thanks to Reno,” said Camillo.

Enabling scalable growth for investors

The platform is also proving effective for property investors seeking to scale refurbishment activity without straining cash flow. Ibrahim Shami, CEO and co-founder of Seraya, one of the UAE’s fastest-growing short-term rental operators, adopted Reno’s solutions to accelerate renovations while maintaining financial flexibility.

Using Reno’s Renovate Now, Pay Later model, Seraya was able to refurbish multiple units simultaneously without upfront capital outlay, repaying renovation costs once the apartments began generating income. As a result, the company doubled its renovation pace from two to four apartments per month.

“Reno’s solutions turned a bottleneck into an opportunity, letting me expand my portfolio faster and smarter,” said Ibrahim.

Advancing renovation through technology

“Our goal is to make home renovations as seamless and transparent as possible,” said Marc Michel, co-founder and CEO of Reno. “Whether it’s busy families looking to upgrade their homes or investors seeking to enhance property value, Reno provides the tools and oversight to deliver projects efficiently and stress-free.”

With the $4 million funding secured, Reno is set to broaden its footprint across the GCC, enhance its technology stack and further refine its renovation workflows. By combining innovation, data-driven processes and financial flexibility, the company aims to redefine renovation management across the region, enabling clients to save time, reduce risk and unlock greater long-term value from their properties.
