Doha, Qatar - Qatar’s real estate market recorded more than $139.6 million (QR508.27 million) in property transactions during the week from 27 September to 1 October, reflecting continued activity across residential, commercial and land assets.

Registered real estate sale contracts accounted for the largest share of the weekly total, reaching approximately $127.5 million (QR464.18 million).

Residential unit transactions added a further $12.1 million (QR44.09 million), taking the combined value of deals completed during the reporting period to QR508.27 million.

The transactions covered a broad mix of property types, including vacant land, houses, apartment buildings, commercial and administrative properties, shops and individual residential units.

Activity was spread across a wide range of municipalities, with deals recorded in Doha, Al Rayyan, Al Wakra, Umm Slal, Al Daayen, Al Khor and Al Thakhira, Al Shamal and Al Sheehaniya.

Transactions were also registered in several of Qatar’s major development and investment areas, including Lusail 69, The Pearl Island, Al Wukair, Al Kharayej, Legtaifiya, Al Gharrafa and Al Sakhama.

The latest figures indicate that demand remains diversified rather than concentrated in a single property segment, with both traditional real estate assets and residential units contributing to weekly market turnover.

While the total remained substantial, it was lower than the previous reporting period. Registered sale contracts had exceeded QR583 million during the week from 20 to 24 September.

That comparison points to some week-to-week moderation in transaction value, while overall activity continues across multiple municipalities and property categories.

The distribution of deals across central Doha, established residential districts and major master-planned communities also highlights the breadth of Qatar’s property market, where transaction activity extends from individual homes and land plots to larger commercial and residential assets.

The weekly figures provide a snapshot of market liquidity and investor activity as Qatar continues to see transactions across both established urban areas and newer development zones.
