Photo: Tyler HoganLegendary heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne has died at the age of 76. Known as the “Prince of Darkness,” Osbourne rose to fame as the frontman of Black Sabbath before launching a hugely successful solo career with hits like Crazy Train. He passed peacefully at home, surrounded by family, prompting tributes from across the music world.
Located in Los Angeles’s prestigious Hancock Park, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s former home is a Mediterranean Revival estate originally built in 1929. The couple purchased the 11,500+ square foot residence in 2015 and oversaw a detailed restoration that preserved its historic elegance while incorporating modern luxury.
The mansion features six bedrooms, eleven bathrooms, and a guest apartment above the garage. Inside, it boasts a double-height foyer, wood-paneled living spaces, formal dining room, a library, and a signature red velvet home cinema adorned with autographs from Hollywood stars.

The kitchen opens into a breakfast area and family room, while the upstairs primary suite offers dual bathrooms, walk-in closets, and access via a private elevator. Vintage fireplaces and custom woodwork reflect timeless craftsmanship throughout.
