Muscat, Oman - Oman’s construction and infrastructure market is heading toward a significant period of activity, supported by an estimated $120 billion pipeline of active and committed projects through 2030.

The investment pipeline spans infrastructure, urban development, tourism, logistics and industrial projects, creating demand for contractors, engineering companies, building-material suppliers and construction technology providers.

Official Project Oman market data places the Sultanate’s national construction pipeline at $120 billion through 2030, reflecting the scale of development planned and under way as Oman continues implementing the objectives of Vision 2040.

Growing investment across transport connections, smart cities, mixed-use schemes and industrial developments is also increasing demand for more advanced construction systems, sustainable materials and digital solutions.

The market outlook will form a central part of Project Oman 2026, which will take place from 2 to 4 November at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre in Muscat.

Now entering its fifth edition, the event brings together contractors, developers, engineers, consultants, manufacturers, suppliers and government stakeholders involved in Oman’s construction and infrastructure sectors.

The exhibition will cover a broad range of construction-related technologies and products, including building materials, heavy machinery, construction systems, HVAC equipment, water technologies, smart automation, robotics and green-building solutions.

Manufacturing technology will also form part of the event, with areas covering artificial intelligence applications, industrial sensors, factory automation, computer-aided design and manufacturing systems, and production-management technologies.

Project Oman is being organised by IFP Group and Al Nimr International Exhibition Organizers, with the event designed to connect international suppliers and technology providers with companies and decision-makers operating in the Omani market.

Alongside the exhibition floor, the programme will include business matchmaking and industry discussions focused on construction trends, technology, sustainability and future development opportunities.

The event comes as Oman continues using infrastructure investment and urban expansion to support economic diversification under Vision 2040.

Demand for sustainable building materials, smart infrastructure, engineering services and construction technologies is expected to remain an important part of the market as major projects progress toward 2030.

With a $120 billion pipeline providing visibility for the coming years, Oman is positioning its construction sector as an increasingly important market for regional and international contractors, technology companies and building-product suppliers.
