Nominations are now open for "Icons of Architecture" Special Edition

Architects, architecture firms, developers and authorized representatives are invited to submit individuals, practices or projects for consideration for Icons of Architecture 2026.

Property News International is pleased to announce the launch of The 30 Icons of Architecture 2026, a special editorial edition celebrating exceptional architectural work, influential architects and leading practices shaping the built environment.

Publishing in October 2026, the edition will bring together 30 standout names and projects that demonstrate the vision, creativity and impact defining architecture today. From landmark developments and transformative design concepts to the architects and practices behind them, The 30 Icons of Architecture 2026 will spotlight those making a distinctive contribution to the industry.

Architecture has the power to define cities, influence communities and create lasting cultural identities. Through this special edition, Property News International will explore the ideas, projects and people pushing the boundaries of design and contributing to the evolution of the built world.

Call for Nominations

Property News International is now inviting architecture firms, developers, designers and industry organisations to nominate an outstanding:

• Architect
• Architectural Practice
• Architectural Project

Submissions should demonstrate a strong body of work, architectural excellence, innovation, influence or a meaningful contribution to the wider industry.

Nominees may range from established international practices and renowned architects to emerging studios and projects demonstrating a distinctive approach to design.

How to Submit

There are two ways to submit a nomination for The 30 Icons of Architecture 2026:

1. Submit online Complete the nomination form directly through the official The 30 Icons of Architecture 2026 edition page.

2. Download the submission form Download and complete the submission form and return it to Property News International together with the relevant supporting materials; which can be found on the official page.

Submissions should include relevant background information, key achievements or notable projects, together with high-quality photography, architectural imagery or other visual material where applicable.

Editorial Selection

All submissions will be reviewed by the Property News International editorial team.

Selections will consider the strength and significance of the nominee's work, architectural vision, design quality, innovation, industry influence and overall contribution to the built environment.

Inclusion in The 30 Icons of Architecture 2026 will provide an opportunity for selected architects, practices and projects to be presented to Property News International's international audience through a dedicated editorial showcase.
