MBRAH and Lufthansa Technik ME open new aviation facility in Dubai

Dubai, UAE: The Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) at Dubai South has inaugurated a new Painting & Grinding Center developed by Lufthansa Technik Middle East, marking a further expansion of advanced aviation services and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) capabilities in the emirate.

The new facility is designed to enhance component painting and grinding processes used in structural and composite repairs, enabling faster curing and drying cycles while improving operational efficiency and reducing turnaround times for regional and international customers.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Tahnoon Saif, CEO of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub, and Ziad Al Hazmi, CEO of Lufthansa Technik Middle East, alongside senior executives from both organisations.

The development reinforces MBRAH’s role as a strategic hub for global aviation players, supporting the continued growth of Dubai’s aerospace sector and strengthening its position as a leading centre for aviation services.
