Through Ma’an, selected UAE-based brands will be able to showcase their products across Majid Al Futtaim’s physical assets, including Mall of the Emirates and THAT Concept Store, as well as its wider ecosystem spanning VOX Cinemas, Carrefour, and other retail and lifestyle platforms. Dubai, UAE: Majid Al Futtaim has announced the launch of “Ma’an,” a new initiative designed to support homegrown businesses and entrepreneurs across the UAE by providing direct access to its retail and digital ecosystem.
The initiative, developed in collaboration with Dubai SME, reflects a broader effort to strengthen local enterprise at a time when businesses across the region are navigating evolving economic conditions.
Rooted in the UAE’s long-standing focus on enabling entrepreneurship, the programme aims to create tangible opportunities for small businesses by offering them access to high-footfall retail destinations and established consumer platforms.
In addition to physical presence, the initiative extends into the company’s digital infrastructure, including its SHARE loyalty programme, providing brands with exposure to a large and engaged customer base.
The initiative reflects a growing recognition of the role small businesses and local entrepreneurs play in shaping communities and contributing to economic resilience.
By integrating emerging brands into established retail environments, the programme seeks to bridge the gap between early-stage businesses and large-scale consumer audiences, offering a platform for growth, visibility, and long-term sustainability.
Ma’an is positioned as a strategic move to open up Majid Al Futtaim’s ecosystem to local entrepreneurs, enabling them to benefit from the scale, infrastructure, and customer reach of one of the region’s leading retail and lifestyle operators.
The initiative is expected to provide selected businesses with opportunities to engage directly with consumers, test products in premium retail environments, and build brand recognition within competitive market segments.
Majid Al Futtaim has confirmed that UAE-based small businesses can apply to participate in the programme, with the company also encouraging the wider community to support and nominate emerging local brands.
The launch of Ma’an highlights a continued focus on fostering innovation, supporting entrepreneurship, and reinforcing the UAE’s position as a dynamic hub for business development and growth.
