(Image source: Sunreef Yachts)Ras Al Khaimah, UAE - Lionel Messi has ordered a new Sunreef ULTIMA 88 luxury catamaran that is currently under construction at Sunreef Yachts shipyard in Ras Al Khaimah.
The yacht will become part of Messi’s MIM Ocean fleet, which is based in the Balearic Islands.
The ULTIMA 88 measures approximately 28 metres and combines the accommodation and deck space of a multihull with a low-profile motor-yacht design. Sunreef introduced the model as part of its latest generation of luxury power catamarans.
Messi’s yacht will feature a full-beam master suite at the bow and four guest cabins on the lower deck. The vessel has an internal volume of 280 GT.
Outdoor areas include Sunreef’s Ocean Lounge, which provides direct access to the water for swimming and water sports. The yacht will also include a dedicated Jet Ski garage, extensive exterior lounging areas and a flybridge.
Power will come from two 1,000 horsepower engines. Sunreef has used the same twin 1,000 hp arrangement on other ULTIMA 88 yachts produced at its UAE facility.
