DUBAI, UAE – Kasumigaseki Capital Co., Ltd., a leading Japanese real estate investment and development company listed on the Prime Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE: 3498), has formalised its presence in the UAE, strengthening its long-term commitment to one of the world's most dynamic investment markets and positioning Dubai as the hub for its Middle East operations.

As of February 2026, the company's total project pipeline and assets under management reached US$5.17 billion (AED18.99 billion), spanning 129 projects across its portfolio. The business is supported by 398 employees in Japan and a further 90 professionals in Dubai working across real estate investment, asset management and hospitality operations.

Since its listing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2018, Kasumigaseki Capital has delivered total shareholder returns of 911.9%, reflecting the strength of its diversified business model and recurring revenue strategy.

Founded in 2011 and promoted to the Prime Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2023, Kasumigaseki Capital has developed a diversified platform covering logistics, hospitality, healthcare, fund management and overseas investments.

The company began operations in the UAE in 2022 before establishing its formal Dubai presence in 2023, with headquarters at Dubai Hills Business Park 4. The latest announcement marks a significant milestone in its international expansion strategy, reinforcing the UAE's role as the company's regional headquarters for the Middle East.

Three dedicated business platforms

Kasumigaseki Capital's regional strategy is centred around three dedicated business lines designed to support long-term growth across multiple sectors.

Kasumigaseki Properties Development serves as the company's UAE development arm and is scheduled to launch its first developments in the near future.

Kasumigaseki Middle East Real Estate focuses on real estate investment and related services, with a total investment exposure of US$304.4 million (AED1.12 billion) across 60 units.

Meanwhile, Kasumigaseki Restaurant oversees the group's food and beverage operations located at Vida Emirates Hills.

Together, the three businesses create an integrated platform that combines development, investment and hospitality while bringing the company's experience across multiple asset classes to the UAE market.

Diversified international portfolio

Kasumigaseki Capital's international expertise spans hospitality, logistics and healthcare developments.

In Japan, the company currently manages 68 hotel projects, 29 logistics developments, and 17 healthcare projects, demonstrating its experience in developing and operating diversified real estate platforms designed to create long-term value.

The company said its continued expansion from Dubai reflects its long-term confidence in the UAE's investment landscape while supporting the continued growth of the country's real estate and hospitality sectors.

To lead its regional operations, Kasumigaseki Capital has appointed a leadership team combining regional market knowledge with international investment expertise.

Mohammad Khalifa Majid Alabbar Alfalasi serves as Chairman, providing strategic guidance for the company's regional growth, while Tatsuya Suzuki oversees operations and expansion strategy across the Middle East as Chief Executive Officer. Kosuke Urasawa, Manager, supports the company's operational and investment activities.
