Istanbul, Türkiye: The International Istanbul Furniture Fair (IIFF), one of the global furniture industry’s most influential meeting points, will return from January 27–31, 2026, bringing together the sector’s leading designers, manufacturers, and buyers. Organized in coordination with the Federation of Furniture Associations (MOSFED) and hosted across the city’s dual exhibition venues, Istanbul Fair Center (IFM) and TÜYAP Exhibition Center, the event will showcase 3,000 brands across 250,000 square meters. More than 150,000 professional visitors from over 150 countries are expected to attend. This year’s overarching theme: “Sustainability.”

Recognized as one of the three most prestigious international furniture exhibitions, IIFF 2026 will once again highlight the Turkish furniture sector’s expanding production capacity, design innovation, and global competitiveness. The fair will present every major product category under one roof from modern and modular concepts to luxury furniture, and from children’s and youth rooms to office, hotel, and outdoor collections.

Last year, business meetings held during IIFF generated a commercial volume of approximately USD $3 billion, a number the organizers aim to exceed in 2026 with richer content, expanded international participation, and a stronger industry-wide focus on sustainable transformation.

A Platform Shaping the Future of the Furniture Industry

MOSFED President Ahmet Güleç emphasized the importance of the fair, noting its role in strengthening the sector’s international presence: “Turkish furniture is writing a success story in the world today. The International Istanbul Furniture Fair (IIFF), which originated in Turkey and became a brand organization, has a very significant contribution and impact on this story.”

He added that the fair’s scale — spread across all halls of IFM and TÜYAP — makes it a strategic platform for promotion, marketing, and collaboration within the global furniture landscape. “IIFF, held every year in January at the beginning of the new year, continues to be the meeting point where the first steps of the Turkish furniture manufacturer's year-long exports are taken and new trade agreements are shaped. Our manufacturers meet with buyers from all over the world at the fair, offering them the chance to examine their collections firsthand, and this process directly transforms into new commercial connections.”

Reflecting on last year’s strong commercial performance, he noted: “In 2026, we aim to carry this success even further, bringing Turkish furniture together with the future on the axis of innovation, design, and sustainability. IIFF 2026 will not only be the center of furniture trade but also of design, technology, and green transformation.”

Turkish Furniture’s Gateway to the World

IIFF stands as a critical event not only for Türkiye’s domestic furniture ecosystem but also for global industry players seeking new partnerships, supply-chain opportunities, and export channels. The fair’s diverse visitor profile includes interior architects, decorators, chain-store executives, wholesalers, import–export specialists, hotel procurement managers, developers, and designers.

Attendees will discover the latest from modern, modular, and luxury collections, alongside office, school, garden, baby, youth, bedding, and accessory categories, all presented through the lens of sustainability, innovation, and forward-thinking design.

In shaping its 2026 edition, IIFF reinforces the international brand strength of the Turkish furniture industry, showcasing its design excellence and production power while embracing the global transition toward environmentally responsible manufacturing.
