SHARJAH, United Arab Emirates – October 16, 2025: Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Sharjah Family & Community Council, visited Al Mamsha, the flagship project by Alef Group and the emirate’s first fully walkable community. The visit highlighted Sharjah’s ongoing commitment to fostering sustainable urban design, innovation, and high-quality living environments.
During her tour, Sheikha Jawaher explored Al Mamsha’s architectural design, which promotes pedestrian comfort through natural shading, smart ventilation, and layouts aligned with prevailing wind directions — all aimed at creating a cooler and more sustainable microclimate for residents and visitors.
Her Highness also toured several destinations within the community, including the Alef Sales Center, Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi Humanitarian Foundation (KSQF), and local lifestyle attractions such as Toga, Honore Café, Allo Beirut, Café Arabica, JINS, Ethr Café, and the Sharjah Business Women Council.
Alef Group’s leadership briefed Sheikha Jawaher on recent development milestones, including ongoing construction updates, retail expansions, and upcoming handovers. In 2025 alone, Al Mamsha welcomed 1.24 million visitors and became home to 2,000 residents, reaffirming its role as one of Sharjah’s most dynamic destinations.
Abdullah Al Huraimel, Board Member at Alef Group, remarked:
“We were honoured to welcome Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Al Qasimi to Al Mamsha. Her visit reflects the emirate’s vision of creating innovative, inclusive, and sustainable communities. Al Mamsha is not just a project; it embodies Sharjah’s leadership in enhancing residents’ quality of life through forward-thinking design.”
Raed Kajoor Al Nuaimi, CEO of Alef Group, added:
“Her Highness’s visit underscores Sharjah’s progressive approach to people-focused urban development. Al Mamsha illustrates how thoughtful design can create vibrant, sustainable spaces that balance lifestyle, environment, and community.”
Al Mamsha represents the future of integrated urban living, combining residential, retail, and leisure experiences within a walkable, tech-driven environment. The development features dedicated pedestrian and cycling paths connecting its districts, allowing residents to move freely without reliance on cars.
With a mix of modern homes, boutique retail outlets, cafes, and hospitality spaces, Al Mamsha continues to attract families, professionals, and visitors who value convenience and connectivity.
Alef Group’s approach to design and urban planning, blending innovation with sustainability continues to position the developer and Sharjah itself as leaders in the evolution of smart, human-centered city living.
