DUBAI, UAE – October 20, 2025: Ellington Properties, one of Dubai’s leading design-focused developers, has awarded a $272 million (AED 1 billion) construction contract to China Railway 18th Bureau Group for the development of Mercer House, a landmark mixed-use project in Uptown Dubai.
Mercer House will feature two distinctive residential towers, a 34-storey North Tower and a 41-storey South Tower, each designed to embody Ellington’s commitment to architecture, wellness, and refined living. The development will include studio to four-bedroom apartments, including exclusive penthouses, all blending craftsmanship with contemporary design.
Beyond its residential offering, the project will include Uptown Plaza, a new retail and dining hub featuring boutiques, cafés, and lifestyle venues. The open, walkable design of the plaza aims to create an engaging community environment that connects residents and visitors in the heart of Uptown Dubai.
