Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center in Saudi Arabia, the venue for the DUNES outdoor adventure exhibition from 20–23 January 2027.RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — The equipment, expertise and experiences behind an outdoor adventure will come together at DUNES, taking place from 20–23 January 2027 at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center.
Organised by Arabia Fairs, the exhibition will connect outdoor brands, equipment suppliers, adventure tourism operators and industry professionals with consumers exploring ways to spend more time outdoors.
The exhibition’s institutional participation includes the Ministry of Tourism, through a pavilion and contributions to the stage program. The National Center for Wildlife is a strategic partner, alongside support from the Saudi Water Sports & Diving Federation, the Saudi Climbing & Hiking Federation, the Saudi Lifesaving Federation, the Saudi Snowsports Federation and the Saudi Surfing Federation.
The event will cover camping and hiking equipment, 4×4 accessories and overlanding, campervans, marine and diving products, adventure sports, and tourism experiences. Its scope reflects the connections between these sectors: a single journey can involve a vehicle, specialist equipment, a guide, a destination and the knowledge to explore it responsibly.
For visitors, DUNES will provide an opportunity to compare products, speak directly with suppliers and discover activities and experiences suited to their interests. Families, experienced enthusiasts and people considering their first outdoor adventure will be able to explore different ways of engaging with Saudi Arabia’s landscapes.
For businesses, the exhibition will bring consumer engagement and industry networking into the same setting. Manufacturers and distributors can introduce their products, understand customer requirements and meet potential commercial partners, while tourism operators can present the experiences they offer and explore collaboration with equipment and service providers.
The event comes as Saudi Arabia continues to develop its outdoor and nature-based tourism offering. Alongside destinations and attractions, this creates a role for the businesses, specialist skills and services that help people plan and undertake their trips.
The accompanying programme is being developed around practical knowledge and industry dialogue, including outdoor learning, adventure tourism, safety and environmental responsibility. Planned sessions and demonstrations will complement the exhibition by exploring how people prepare for outdoor activities and how operators deliver them.
Running from Wednesday to Saturday, DUNES includes the full Friday–Saturday weekend, giving visitors a wider choice of attendance days and exhibitors more time to engage with their audiences.
DUNES Expo will take place from 20–23 January 2027 at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center (RICEC), Saudi Arabia.
