DUBAI, UAE - Dubai’s real estate sector continued to record strong activity levels, with the Dubai Land Department registering transactions worth $5.72 billion (AED21 billion) during the past week, according to figures released by the Dubai Media Office.

The latest performance adds to the sustained momentum seen across the emirate’s property market, which remains one of the strongest-performing sectors within the UAE economy despite ongoing regional geopolitical uncertainty.

Dubai’s real estate market has maintained strong growth throughout 2026, supported by robust investor demand, continued off-plan activity and sustained interest in luxury and waterfront properties.

Earlier data released by the Dubai Land Department showed that Dubai’s real estate transactions surged 31 percent year-on-year in the first quarter of 2026, reaching $68.62 billion (AED252 billion).

The number of transactions increased 6 percent during the quarter, while investments climbed 22 percent to $47.1 billion (AED173 billion) across 57,744 transactions.

Investor activity also continued to expand, with the number of investors rising 8 percent year-on-year in Q1 to 48,448. More than 29,000 new investors entered the market during the period, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a leading global destination for real estate investment.

Weekly transaction volumes have consistently remained elevated in recent months. Earlier this month, Dubai recorded weekly real estate transactions worth $4.14 billion (AED15.2 billion), while another recent week saw deals valued at $4 billion (AED14.7 billion).

The market continues to be supported by several structural drivers, including sustained foreign investment, strong off-plan sales, rising demand for luxury homes, long-term residency reforms and the emirate’s broader economic growth strategy under the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.

Dubai’s property market also closed 2025 on record levels, with more than 214,000 property sales transactions valued at $185.9 billion (AED682.5 billion). Including mortgages and gift transactions, the total market value reportedly exceeded $245 billion (AED900 billion).

The latest weekly figures further highlight the continued resilience and depth of Dubai’s real estate sector, as the emirate strengthens its appeal among international investors, residents and institutional buyers seeking long-term exposure to one of the region’s fastest-growing property markets.
