The authority has also completed more than 250 traffic improvements, which contributed to reductions in travel times of up to 60% across affected routes.
Dubai Metro achieved a punctuality rate of 99.7%, while the network continues to expand and existing stations undergo upgrades.
RTA’s work has increasingly extended beyond conventional transport infrastructure into future mobility.
The authority has developed and operated AI-powered autonomous taxis, progressed Dubai’s first air-taxi station and expanded cycling infrastructure as part of the emirate’s broader mobility strategy.
Operational improvements were also considered as part of the award. RTA introduced systems to monitor and respond to road-related feedback within 24 hours and implemented 117 quick-win improvements over two years.
A total of 82 services are now available without waiting time, according to the official announcement.
Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Chairman of the Executive Office of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, said: “RTA's approach clearly reflected this philosophy on the ground by combining quality, speed and continuity, turning challenges into opportunities for development and service improvement.”
The Dubai-it initiative was launched to recognise individuals, projects, companies and institutions that demonstrate high levels of execution, measurable results and rapid delivery.
