Dubai Holding Real Estate and Commercial Bank of Dubai have introduced a financing programme designed to streamline home purchases across selected residential developments. Image: Dubai HoldingDUBAI, UAE – Dubai Holding Real Estate has partnered with Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) to introduce a new home financing programme aimed at making property ownership more accessible for eligible buyers across developments by Nakheel, Meraas and Dubai Properties.
The initiative is available to UAE Nationals and residents, including both salaried and self-employed customers, purchasing qualifying off-plan and completed villas and apartments within Dubai Holding Real Estate’s portfolio.
Designed to provide a more seamless financing experience, the programme combines preferential rates, streamlined onboarding processes and enhanced banking services with both conventional and Islamic financing options, subject to eligibility and approval.
A key component of the offering is the introduction of digital pre-approval supported by automated eligibility assessments. This allows prospective buyers to gain early visibility into their borrowing capacity and make more informed purchasing decisions before progressing through the ownership journey.
The programme also introduces access to financing from the 30% construction stage, provided buyers have met the required 50% payment threshold. The structure is intended to provide greater certainty during the purchasing process and improve financing visibility for off-plan buyers.
Additional benefits include dedicated relationship management, competitive fee structures and access to selected premium banking services through CBD. Salaried applicants are expected to benefit from faster turnaround times and simplified approval processes, while self-employed individuals, entrepreneurs and SME owners will have access to more flexible eligibility criteria and streamlined documentation requirements.
Khalid Al Malik, Chief Executive Officer, Dubai Holding Real Estate, said: “Enabling access to home ownership at the right point in the purchase journey is a priority for Dubai Holding Real Estate. Our partnership with Commercial Bank of Dubai responds directly to that need by unlocking earlier and more structured access to home financing across Nakheel, Meraas and Dubai Properties for UAE Nationals and residents, including salaried and self-employed customers. By leveraging the scale and diversity of our residential portfolio, we are giving buyers greater confidence to plan and move forward, reinforcing Dubai Holding Real Estate’s role in shaping accessible, high-quality communities across Dubai’s leading destinations.”
Dr. Bernd van Linder, Chief Executive Officer, Commercial Bank of Dubai, said: “Customers today want more than financing. They want clarity, efficiency and trusted guidance throughout the property ownership journey. Through our partnership with Dubai Holding Real Estate, we are simplifying access to home financing with faster digital pre-approvals, dedicated mortgage expertise and a more efficient onboarding process. This reflects CBD’s commitment to supporting customers while contributing to the sustainable growth of Dubai’s real estate market.”
The partnership reflects growing collaboration between Dubai’s real estate and financial sectors as developers and banks continue to work together to support homeownership, strengthen market confidence and improve customer accessibility.
Dubai Holding Real Estate is one of the region’s largest integrated master developers, bringing together the development portfolios of Nakheel, Meraas and Dubai Properties. Its communities are home to more than 1.2 million residents and include some of Dubai’s most recognised destinations, from Palm Jumeirah and Palm Jebel Ali to Bluewaters, Port de La Mer, Jumeirah Beach Residence and Business Bay.
The initiative also aligns with Dubai’s broader urban development objectives, supporting long-term residential growth and increasing accessibility to homeownership across the emirate’s expanding residential landscape.
