Helvetia Marine, DHG Properties’ premium waterfront development on Dubai Islands, is scheduled for completion in Q1 2028. Image: DHG PropertiesDUBAI, UAE - DHG Properties, the Dubai-based developer and part of the Swiss real estate and construction group DHG, has officially commenced construction of Helvetia Marine, its premium waterfront residential development on Dubai Islands.
The milestone marks the project's progression into its next phase of development, with completion scheduled for Q1 2028, as the developer continues to expand its presence across Dubai’s emerging residential growth corridors.
Located within Dubai Islands, one of the emirate’s most ambitious coastal master developments, Helvetia Marine enters the market at a time when the destination continues to attract significant investor interest and recently emerged as one of Dubai’s strongest-performing locations for off-plan apartment sales.
Spanning a built-up area of approximately 12,938 square metres, Helvetia Marine has been conceived as a low-rise, design-focused residential community offering a curated collection of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, alongside a limited selection of duplex and garden residences.
The development combines contemporary architecture inspired by natural coral formations with interiors influenced by luxury yacht living, creating a waterfront lifestyle centred on privacy, functionality, and understated luxury.
A number of residences will feature double-height ceilings, private landscaped outdoor areas, and enhanced indoor-outdoor living experiences designed to maximise views and natural light.
Residents will also have access to a range of lifestyle amenities, including a panoramic rooftop infinity pool, landscaped gardens, fitness facilities, and dedicated social spaces.
Commenting on the construction milestone, Blagoje Antic, CEO and Founder of DHG Group, said:
“Helvetia Marine reflects our continued focus on delivering high-quality developments in locations that are shaping Dubai’s next phase of growth. The fact that the project is fully sold out at this stage is a strong indicator of how buyer expectations are evolving, particularly towards waterfront living that combines design, privacy, and long-term investment value. Our approach remains consistent – bringing Swiss precision into markets where we see sustained, fundamentals-driven demand.”
The fully sold-out status highlights continued demand for premium waterfront residences, particularly within master-planned communities offering long-term lifestyle and investment appeal.
Helvetia Marine forms part of DHG Properties’ growing portfolio across the emirate.
The developer’s inaugural project, Helvetia Residences in Jumeirah Village Circle, remains on track for completion in July 2026, while Helvetia Verde in Meydan Horizon recently broke ground.
Together, the three projects represent approximately $354 million (AED1.3 billion) in combined development value and underscore the company’s strategy of delivering Swiss-quality residential developments across key Dubai growth districts.
Commenting on the strategic importance of Dubai Islands, Milos Antic, Executive Vice Chairman of DHG Group, said: "Dubai Islands is evolving into a destination that appeals to a new generation of buyers looking beyond traditional residential offerings.
"What is driving momentum in the area is the scale of long-term planning taking place around it. Buyers today are paying closer attention to how communities will develop over the next decade, and Helvetia Marine was positioned to align with that future-focused demand for well-connected, lifestyle-oriented coastal living, while maintaining the exclusivity and attention to detail that define the Helvetia brand," he added.
As Dubai Islands continues to evolve into a major waterfront destination under Dubai’s long-term urban development strategy, developers and investors are increasingly positioning themselves to capitalise on growing demand for premium coastal living experiences.
