Danube Group Chairman Rizwan Sajan Assures Its 6000+ WorkforceDubai, UAE: Danube Group has reaffirmed its commitment to its workforce, with Founder and Chairman Rizwan Sajan confirming that the company will not implement layoffs and will continue to pay salaries on time, despite ongoing geopolitical uncertainty.
The announcement comes at a time when regional and global markets are being influenced by heightened geopolitical tensions, placing increased pressure on businesses to maintain stability and continuity.
Sajan shared the update publicly, reinforcing the company’s position on workforce stability and long-term resilience.
I’ve faced many challenging situations in the past - from the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait to the 2008 financial crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite these, we have always bounced back stronger, and I’m confident we will do so again. During the pandemic, I had committed to not letting go of any employees, and I stood by that promise. Similarly, there will be no layoffs at Danube Group this time as well,
he said.
He further added, “Our 6000+ employees are not just our workforce - they are our family. They helped build Danube Group into what it is today. In times like these, we stand by them with the same commitment. All salaries will be paid on time, and we remain dedicated to serving our clients and customers.”
Danube Group’s ability to maintain operational stability is supported by its diversified business model, which spans building materials, real estate, and home solutions.
This multi-sector approach has enabled the company to remain agile and responsive to shifting market conditions, even during periods of economic and geopolitical uncertainty.
The company’s real estate arm continues to expand its portfolio, with recent launches reflecting sustained demand across Dubai’s residential market.
Danube Properties recently unveiled Greenz by Danube, its first large-scale integrated community featuring premium townhouses and villas. The development, with prices starting from $952,000 (AED 3.5 million), offers flexible payment structures including the brand’s 1% monthly payment plan, which has attracted strong interest from investors and end users.
As market conditions evolve, Danube Group continues to prioritise project delivery, operational continuity, and client commitments.
The company’s leadership stance highlights a broader approach centred on long-term value creation, workforce stability, and disciplined execution.
In an environment shaped by external pressures, Danube Group’s decision to maintain employment levels and financial commitments reflects confidence in its underlying business fundamentals.
The move underscores the role of strong leadership and strategic planning in navigating uncertainty, positioning the company to sustain growth while supporting its workforce and stakeholders.
