DUBAI, UAE – DAMAC Properties has announced the handover of 8,800 residential units across Dubai during 2026, alongside the award of more than US$2.72 billion (AED10 billion) in construction contracts during the first half of the year.

The company said the latest milestones reflect continued delivery momentum across its expanding portfolio of master-planned communities and residential developments, reinforcing its commitment to timely project execution.

Commenting on the announcement, Ali Sajwani, Managing Director of DAMAC Properties, said:

"DAMAC remains fully committed to delivering every promised unit and project to our customers without disruption or delay. Despite the regional tensions earlier this year, our construction activity, operations and handover timelines continue to progress with confidence and consistency. Our priority remains clear, to deliver on our commitments while maintaining the highest standards of quality, efficiency and execution. Dubai continues to demonstrate exceptional resilience as a global real estate and investment destination, and DAMAC remains focused on supporting the emirate's long-term vision through timely delivery, and continued investment across our developments."

Handover programme spans flagship communities

The 2026 handovers will take place across several of DAMAC's flagship developments, including DAMAC Hills, DAMAC Hills 2, DAMAC Lagoons, Chic Tower, and Elegance Tower.

According to the developer, the handovers demonstrate sustained progress across its residential pipeline as construction advances across some of Dubai's most established and sought-after communities.

DAMAC added that it continues to strengthen its development pipeline through strategic contractor partnerships, operational efficiencies and technology-driven construction processes.

Founded in 2002 by Hussain Sajwani, DAMAC Properties has delivered 50,000 residential units to date and currently has more than 54,000 units under construction.

In 2025, the developer expanded its local and international presence through partnerships with Chelsea Football Club and Oracle Red Bull Racing, alongside a series of new project launches.

The company said it remains focused on delivering lifestyle-led communities that support Dubai's real estate sector while meeting sustained demand from homeowners and investors.
