CIHIE 2026 to showcase smart and green construction innovation in Guangzhou

Guangzhou, China: Following the strong performance of CIHIE 2025, the 18th China Int'l Integrated Housing Industry & Building Industrialization Expo (CIHIE 2026) is set to take place at Guangzhou Poly World Trade Center Expo from 8–10 May 2026, positioning itself once again as a major global platform for smart, green and industrialised construction.

Widely recognised as the “Canton Fair of Prefabricated Construction”, CIHIE 2026 will span more than 50,000 square metres of exhibition space, hosting over 800 exhibitors and welcoming more than 100,000 visitors from around the world. Building on this momentum, CIHIE 2026 will centre on three core pillars: digital-intelligent construction, green prefabrication, and sustainable development. Exhibitors will present technologies such as BIM-integrated design, photovoltaic energy-saving equipment and low-carbon building materials.

Major central enterprises including China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) and China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) will showcase full-industry-chain solutions. In parallel, collaborations such as the digital housing agreement between Guangzhou’s Housing Bureau, iFlytek and China Mobile will highlight the role of smart technologies in urban transformation.

Belt and Road cooperation remains a key feature of CIHIE 2026, with landmark projects from 57 countries, including Egypt’s New Administrative Capital and Malaysia’s Innovia, demonstrating the synergy of “Chinese construction + global market”.

The expo will also host more than 10 high-end forums, bringing together government officials, academic experts and industry leaders to discuss topics such as modular construction standards, PV-building integration and urban renewal, supporting policy alignment and technical exchange.
