Sharjah, October 16, 2025: BEEAH Group, the region’s leading sustainability and digital transformation company, has announced a strategic partnership with The Hashgraph Group (THG), a Swiss-based Web3 technology company within the Hedera ecosystem, to introduce a decentralized digital identity (DID) solution across BEEAH’s expanding portfolio of businesses.
The agreement, signed during GITEX Global 2025, marks one of the first large-scale DID deployments in the Middle East, underscoring BEEAH’s continued leadership in technology-driven sustainability and innovation.
The new solution, known as IDTrust, is an enterprise-grade, self-sovereign identity platform powered by Hedera’s distributed ledger technology (DLT) and enabled through The Hashgraph Association’s Enterprise Accelerator Programme. The platform will unify digital access and authentication across BEEAH’s environmental, energy, real estate, healthcare, and technology divisions—creating a secure, privacy-first, and interoperable ecosystem.
“This is a foundational step toward creating a seamless digital experience for our employees, customers, residents, and partners,” said Khaled Al Huraimel, Group CEO and Vice Chairman of BEEAH Group. “It reflects our ongoing commitment to sustainability, innovation, and smarter governance, in alignment with the UAE’s vision for a connected and sustainable future.”
The deployment will begin internally with employee and partner identity management before expanding to all BEEAH operations—including smart real estate communities, healthcare facilities, and environmental service networks. Future stages will explore partnerships with government entities and UAE-wide digital ecosystems, positioning BEEAH as a regional pioneer in decentralized identity adoption.
Kamal Youssefi, President of The Hashgraph Association, emphasized that this initiative reflects the MENA region’s growing leadership in next-generation digital technologies. “With the support of the Hedera Governing Council, we aim to empower enterprises and governments globally. BEEAH’s adoption of decentralized identity sets a global benchmark for trust, transparency, and innovation,” he said.
The IDTrust platform utilizes quantum-secure cryptography to enable trusted verification for multiple use cases, including KYC checks, banking, medical record sharing, property title verification, and digital credentialing.
Stefan Deiss, Co-Founder and CEO of The Hashgraph Group, added: “Our collaboration with BEEAH redefines digital identity for enterprise use, offering a privacy-first, secure framework that empowers both individuals and organizations.”
According to Grand View Research, the global decentralized digital identity market, valued at $647.8 million in 2022, is projected to reach $102 billion by 2030, growing at a CAGR of 90.3%.
With this partnership, BEEAH not only strengthens its technological leadership but also reinforces the UAE’s position as a hub for digital innovation and sustainable smart governance.
