GOLD COAST, AUSTRALIA: UAE-based master developer Arada Group has announced plans for a $1.36 billion (AED 5 billion) twin-tower residential development in Broadbeach on the Gold Coast, marking its first expansion outside New South Wales and its largest commitment to the Australian market to date.

The project follows Arada's acquisition of a prime development site in Broadbeach and represents the next stage of the group's strategy to establish a diversified, multi-city presence across Australia.

Arada's Queensland debut will deliver 952 residences across two towers, with construction to be undertaken by Roberts Co, the group's tier-one construction subsidiary.

The development is targeted for completion ahead of the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, as investment and residential demand continue to shape the wider South East Queensland market.

952 Residences Planned Across Two Towers

Designed by Plus Studio, the scheme will comprise 952 one- to three-bedroom residences across two towers connected by a landscaped podium.

The development will feature an extensive collection of lifestyle and wellness amenities, including a lagoon pool, lap pool, gym, sauna, steam room, mist room, infrared room and salt scrub facilities.

Communal terraces, private dining facilities, a library, lounge and work-from-home spaces are also planned, alongside approximately 1,200 square metres of ground-floor retail and hospitality space.

The Broadbeach site is positioned directly opposite the Gold Coast Convention Centre and combines proximity to the beachfront with established dining, retail, entertainment and transport infrastructure.

The development will have immediate access to the light rail and is within walking distance of The Star Gold Coast and Pacific Fair Shopping Centre.

Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Group CEO of Arada, said: “Broadbeach is a world-class address that gives us the canvas to create a community of exceptional design and lifestyle quality that genuinely enriches the daily lives of the people who call it home. This is our first development outside New South Wales, and it reflects our growing ambition to grow in key urban markets around the country. Delivering this project through Roberts Co, our own tier-one construction business, means we can bring the quality, pace and accountability that our buyers expect.”

Arada Builds Australian Development Pipeline

The Broadbeach project represents a significant expansion of Arada's presence in Australia, which began when the group entered the market in 2024.

Since then, Arada has assembled a pipeline of eight projects and more than 5,000 homes across the country. In 2025, the group also acquired tier-one contractor Roberts Co, strengthening its vertically integrated development and construction capabilities.

Arada said its investment in the Gold Coast reflects confidence in the wider South East Queensland market. The region is experiencing population growth supported by interstate migration and infrastructure investment, while preparations for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games are driving further investment across the region.

The developer sees an opportunity to deliver a major residential project as the Gold Coast continues to develop as an international residential and lifestyle destination.

Australian Presence Extends Beyond Real Estate

Arada's activities in Australia also extend beyond residential development.

The group has invested in Brooki Bakehouse, an Australian dessert brand, and holds a master franchise agreement for Australian consumer brand Boost Juice across the UAE.

Arada also operates across hospitality, wellness and healthcare through a growing portfolio of brands, including Formative, described as the UAE's largest fitness operator by revenue, which the group plans to expand into its international markets.

Globally, Arada has projects valued at $35.4 billion (AED 130 billion) and a portfolio of more than 55,000 homes across the UAE, United Kingdom and Australia.

The Broadbeach development further extends that international footprint while establishing the developer in Queensland for the first time.
