Arada Awards USD 108 Million Contract for Rove Aljada Complex in Sharjah

Sharjah, UAE – October 16, 2025: Arada has awarded a USD 108 million (AED 397 million) construction contract to Modern Building Contracting Company (MBCC) for the development of the Rove Aljada hotel and branded residences complex, one of the most anticipated additions to the USD 9.5 billion (AED 35 billion) Aljada megaproject in Sharjah.

Set within Aljada’s fast-developing urban core, the new complex will combine contemporary hospitality, branded residential living, and lifestyle amenities that reflect the emirate’s growing position as a leading destination for business and leisure. Construction will commence immediately, with completion scheduled for December 2027.

A Landmark for Sharjah’s Expanding Hospitality Landscape

The Rove Aljada complex will consist of four buildings, located adjacent to Arada’s upcoming Central Business District (CBD) and the landmark Madar Mall, creating a connected, walkable, and vibrant environment that complements Aljada’s vision as a new urban hub for Sharjah.

The Rove Aljada Hotel will feature 192 guest rooms designed for modern travelers, combining comfort with functionality. Guests will enjoy access to a rooftop swimming pool, 24-hour gym, co-working lounges, and an all-day dining restaurant, along with multiple social and recreational spaces.

The Rove Home Aljada component will introduce 306 branded residences and serviced apartments, featuring a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. Each home will reflect Rove’s distinctive contemporary aesthetic — colorful, connected, and design-led, with premium facilities such as a private residents’ gym, swimming pool, café, and ground-floor retail outlets.
