Image: WAMABU DHABI, UAE – Aldar has unveiled The Canopies, the first residential community to be launched at Yas Point, the recently announced $1.63 billion (AED6 billion) waterfront destination on the northern shore of Yas Island, according to WAM.
Sales for the new residential development are scheduled to begin on 29 July, marking the first opportunity for buyers to secure homes within the master-planned waterfront community.
The Canopies will comprise 592 apartments spread across six mid-rise residential buildings, offering a mix of studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments designed to cater to a broad range of residents and investors.
The community has been planned with a strong emphasis on outdoor living and wellbeing. Residents will have access to more than 10,000 square metres of landscaped open space, featuring shaded walkways, gardens, outdoor wellness areas and social spaces that encourage an active and connected lifestyle.
Positioned on the northern waterfront of Yas Island, The Canopies will provide convenient access to the island's established leisure, entertainment and lifestyle destinations while benefiting from the wider Yas Point masterplan.
The launch represents the first residential offering within the $1.63 billion (AED6 billion) waterfront destination, reinforcing Aldar's continued investment in expanding Abu Dhabi's residential portfolio through integrated mixed-use communities.
